E-Ivymount Continuity of Learning


The e-Ivymount Continuity of Learning Plan provides a variety of teacher instruction and support, independent, age-appropriate self-paced work, and submission of graded assignments, as applicable. Students will participate in schedules that include both live and recorded instruction, as well as independent work, assignments and activities; and choice based activity blocks.

Here are some ways to support your student's success:

  • Collaborate with your teacher or coordinator, who will be in touch to discuss your student’s learning plan.
  • Set up technology, including a device connected to the internet which ideally has a keyboard, camera, speakers and microphone.
  • Establish access to software/apps relayed by your student’s team.
  • Create a work environment for your student in your home.

It is important to note that remote instruction is not intended to be an exact model of the typical school day when students are in our buildings. Our goal is to provide both structure and flexibility for students, teachers, and families.

We will continue to improve the Ivymount Continuity of Learning plan for remote instruction with crucial feedback from students, parents/caregivers, and staff.  See the results of our first survey here.

We will work with all families and your Local School Systems to discuss access to, and use of, technology. We ask that all families complete two forms:

Family Technology Survey so we can adjust your child’s Continuity of Learning Plan based on what technology resources your child has access to at home.

Privacy/Online Subscription Consent Form that explains how your child’s information will be kept private while we use Microsoft 365, Google Classroom and other online subscription resources.
