Founded in 1961, Ivymount School & Programs has created nationally recognized programs and partnerships for people with autism and special needs as well as their families. In this video, our dedicated staffs share thoughts about the overall success of the school and give insight into the many wonderful moments of the school day. 


   Working Together: Ivymount School and PAHO

PAHO (Pan American Health Organization), an Ivymount School to Work partner since 2015, produced this insightful video about their role as an internship site and the benefits of inclusion in the workplace. 


The Ivymount Kitchen: A Recipe for Independence
This video provides a peek inside our cooking class in our School to Work Post High School program. Students learn to prepare meals for themselves independently, from making a shopping list on their iPad to spreading pepperonis on a pizza then putting it into the oven. 

2018 Ivymount Field Day Recap

Ivymount’s PE department hosted Field Day on June 6, 2018. Students from different programs and classes participated in a variety of indoor and outdoor competitions and water activities. This video is a brief recap of the joyful day capturing our students having fun and learning the importance of teamwork.

2018 Ivymount Special Needs Resource Fair

This video showcases Ivymount’s 6th Annual Special Needs Resource Fair, a public event targeted at families of children and young adults with special needs. The fair had over 40 exhibitors whose organizations provide a variety of services and resources.

Ivymount's Henry V at Folger Theatre 

We are very proud of our MAP students who performed at the Shakespeare Festival hosted by the Folger Shakespeare Library. This video captures their performance at the theater in front of a live audience with their costumes and props. Several awards were granted to our students for their fabulous performance. 


Ivymount School's Henry V (Rehearsal)

This video captures one of many rehearsals of our MAP students working on Shakespeare's Henry V. They practiced in the library throughout the fall and winter, preparing for their performance at the Folger Shakespeare Library in February. Through this experience, our students learned to master the novel vocabulary and understand the motivation of the actions in this classic.

2017-18 Annual Fund Campaign
